Dorothy Sisneros is Partner and Senior Vice President, Client Experience for Leebov Golde Group. She is also the founder and a Managing Partner of Thunderbird Leadership Consulting. Prior to Thunderbird’s formation in 2007, Dorothy was the founder and principal of Sisneros and Associates (1999). While the majority of Dorothy’s work over 30 years (as an employee and then as a business owner) has been with hospitals, physician practices and clinics, she has also worked extensively within the community college system as a faculty member, department chairperson and most recently as District Director of Executive Talent and Succession Planning.

Dorothy has coached 100s of senior leaders and provided leadership coaching/development to thousands of mid-level and frontline leaders around service, leadership and patient experience skills.

Her clients within the Kindred Healthcare system included individual hospitals, geographic regions and the entire system as Kindred implemented an enterprise-wide service excellenceinitiative. Other recent clients include Abrazo Health, ProHealth Care System, Scripps Health, Mission Community Hospital, Maricopa Community Colleges, Banner Healthcare, Florida Community College - Jacksonville, Specialty Hospitals of Washington, Kozeny & McCubbin/Insight Title, and the Heart Hospital of New Mexico.

Through Thunderbird Leadership Consulting, Dorothy partnered with a Fortune 500 large healthcare company to develop and implement a Service Excellence Initiative for its 80+ hospitals. Highlights of the work over four years included training and ongoing support of 45 facilitators, implementing the system roll-out, developing supporting curriculum, updating performance systems and evaluating metrics. Outcomes for the Initiative demonstrated reduced turnover, decreased contract labor and improved employee and patient satisfaction. While working with The Heart Hospital of New Mexico, the hospital was recognized as the 2006 New Mexico's Best Place to Work -- Rank #1 among large employers.


Education:

Dorothy Sisneros earned a M.S. and M.B.A. She is a DiSC facilitator and a member of SHRM and ASTD. She is a Founding Fellow of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. She serves on the Executive Leadership Team for the Go Red for Women of the American Heart Association in Phoenix.
